Holidays: Markets closed for Easter Monday in Italy, Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Switzerland, Great Britain, Canada, Hong Kong, South Africa, Germany, France and Australia. New Zealand and Australia are also closed on Friday fro ANZAC Day. Italy observes Liberation Day on Thursday.

Monthly existing home sales, new home sales, FHFA house price index, Chicago Fed National Activity Index, Kansas City and Richmond Fed manufacturing indices, durable goods orders, and U. Michigan/Reuters consumer sentiment. Weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, chain store sales, energy inventories, and mortgage applications.
Japanese Data: Industrial production, retail sales, unemployment, corporate service prices, supermarket sales, housing starts, construction orders, all industry index, Tokyo consumer prices, machine tool orders, and index of leading economic indicators.

Euroland: Consumer confidence and EU Commission updated forecasts.

Portugal’s current account, Finnish unemployment, and Belgian business sentiment. Austrian industrial output and manufacturing purchasing managers index. Spanish trade balance and unemployment.
Eastern Europe: Polish retail sales and unemployment. Czech business sentiment and consumer confidence.
