Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has recently teamed up with the devious minds at The Stockroom (one of A Good Woman’s Dirty Mind’s Best Online Sex Toy Shops, nominated by readers like you) to create a signature line of exclusive products.
The first piece available from the collection is “The Strap,” which combines the functionalities of a guitar strap, BDSM restraints, a wearable belt and locking collar.

Navarro reports that he has always had an affinity for fashion and style born from the fetish underground. True to his aesthetic convictions, The Strap sports a style with edge and attitude fit for a live performance.
The Dave Navarro Line by The Stockroom marks the guitarist’s debut into fashion and novelty design. 2014 marked the 25th Anniversary of both The Stockroom Inc. and the album “Nothing’s Shocking” from Jane’s Addiction, making the meeting of rock and roll, fetish, and fashion highly timely.
“When The Stockroom first approached me to do a signature line I was truly honored,” Navarro said. “I have been a customer and a fan of the company for years. Fetish lifestyle and fashion have inspired me since the early days of Jane’s Addiction, and the community will forever have a special place in my life. I worked very closely with the team at The Stockroom and have come up with a few pieces that marry both aspects that are important to me: aesthetic and useability.”
The Strap is available for immediate sale, and the first 500 sold will be signed by Navarro.
The remainder of the product line is set to debut in the New Year.
Included in the upcoming collection are Navarro’s now-infamous custom-made black latex performance pants, dubbed “Dave Navarro’s Black Latex Jeans.”
The Jeans feature a 2-inch lower waistline and more slim-fitted legs than other men’s pants from The Stockroom’s latex brand, Syren Couture — a fit and silhouette that Navarro has custom-ordered for years.
Striking black latex blazer jackets will also be offered in three designs.
Navarro plans to sport a unique version of the blazer on the final episode of Spike Network’s “Ink Master” slated to air Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 10 p.m. EDT.
The line will also include black gloves with heavy steel zippers, and Latex Gauntlets.
All five pieces in the collection are made by hand by the artisan staff at The Stockroom’s L.A. facility.
Navarro reports that he wears all pieces of the line regularly, and “with pride.”
In my opinion, Navarro goes to show you’re never too old to rock and roll or get kinky. He’s 47.
